Success stories

Read a few of our Success Stories.

There are many more ‘Success Stories’ of Early Childhood services, we can share – but what we celebrate is the shared success of SOLVE Consult working “hand in hand” with Pasifika services that request support and guidance and has helped either with, licensing non-compliance of services, working with services at risk of closing down or strengthening services in areas of concern, such as governance, financial management and in curriculum and assessment practices. SOLVE Consult has developed specialised tools in cultural engagement, cultural protocols and intelligence to ensure that services are engaged with a focus on social impact to achieve outcomes for the wellbeing of the children in the communities we serve.

SOLVE Consult, has always believed in the principle of stewardship of children and the future of our children, and has dedicated its services to help turn around; services with consistent supplementary Education Review Office reports, services struggling, services that have identified new and innovative approaches to engaging with Pasifika. SOLVE Consult has assisted many of these services, to achieve a 3 year cycle, and in many cases, SOLVE Consult has been highly successful in turning around services from a Provisional License back to a Full License in compliance with the Ministry of Education and Education Review Office requirements.

Alofa O Le Atua Trust - trading as Agape Preschool

We took on a project with Alofa O le Atua Trust to reopen their Early Childcare service when it had been closed down by the Ministry of Education. In 2008, Sue and her SOLVE Consult team worked with the Trust on the ECE3 licensing criteria to ensure the Trust was ready and met all the compliance requirements before an EC8/08 application was submitted to the Ministry of Education. In 2011, the Trust received a Probationary License, and in 2012, they received their Full Licence. Since then, our SOLVE Consult team, has continued to work with the Trust to develop a quality Early Childcare service and meet full Early Childhood Education compliance. The Pasifika service went through two (2) lots of Education Office Review cycles and have successfully received three (3) year Education Office Review cycles.
